What is Linking Raleigh, NC?

Linking Raleigh, NC started as a group on LinkedIn.com. The group was formed by Greg Hyer on April 2, 2008 with the intent to help Triangle professionals connect and communicate. When this site went live the group had grown to over 800 members of which a majority work within the Triangle area. As of June 1, 2009 the group has grown past 5500 members of which 90% are in the Triangle area.

LinkingRaleighNC.com is a site for Triangle professionals to become more aware of their professional environment. The site features:

• Member blogs
• News feeds through popular and local RSS feeds
• Events calendar

Also featured are articles that are specific to the Triangle business climate such as the current employment numbers and new legislation that could effect our daily lives. For other visitors to the site there is a section of articles for those considering moving to the area. The "Moving to Raleigh" section will include information about the tax climate, real estate hot spots, DMV and DOT issues and much more.

This site is powered by open source software and hosted by a fee based service provider.
